Paul Braun
Paul Braun has been actively involved with the Front Rangers Cycling Club (FRCC) since its inception in 1993. Over the years, he has served in various leadership roles, including club president, vice president, board member, and junior racing team director. He also earned a USA Cycling Expert Coaching Certificate. Currently, Paul continues to support the club as a board member, helps with equipment, and assists with coaching. A passionate cyclist, Paul began racing in 1981 and still enjoys road, mountain, and gravel biking, though his competitive involvement has tapered in recent years.
Professionally, Paul is a retired cartographer, having worked with the US Geological Survey for 31 years, followed by three years part-time. His career also included roles at Turin Bicycles and Wheatridge Cyclery. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University, with additional studies at Fort Lewis College and Red Rocks Community College. Beyond cycling, he enjoys rock climbing, mountaineering, Nordic skiing, hiking, exploring nature, and traveling. Nowadays, he spends much of his time staying active with FRCC and assisting his wife Cindy with her business.
