Jr Racing Team

Welcome to the FRCC Racing Team page!
Since 1993, the Front Ranger Cycling Club (FRCC) has always been known to support strong teams of Juniors and age 23 and under (U23) racers. However, we also support and welcome Senior and Masters racers as well, especially individuals who like working with our Junior and U23 members

and with our inner-city youth program. Although primarily involved in road racing, many team members also participate in mountain biking, track, cyclo-cross, and other endurance sports. Consistently Junior members have placed in the top 5 at State Championships as well as the Bicycle Racing Association of Colorado's Rocky Mountain Road Cup for best rider and team awarded to the various age groups. This success is due to our coaches, mentors, involved parents, our close “family” like interaction with each other and especially to our workout programs created by our USA Cycling Certified "Elite" Level Coach, Mike Carter. Club members not only benefit from our coaching but also from club discounts on bikes, equipment, services and clothing. Junior and U23 members also have free access to club bikes, equipment and various donated items. The club also offers financial assistance for select races, disadvantaged members, and scholarships for continuing education.
Racing Program Membership: The FRCC Racing Team is open to athletes wishing to support the Front Rangers Mission. Bike racing builds many lifelong skills and benefits, but we also feel that contributing to society through the club’s urban youth mission is essential to a racer’s growth. Once this commitment is understood by racers and their families, racers will join the team at one of the 3 levels of Jr./U23membership or as an adult racer. Please refer to the current Racing Team Guidelines and the Racing Team Application for membership details.

Juniors, U23 riders, their parents, and adult members are expected to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth in the Racing Team Guidelines.

Most of our members and training rides are based near the Denver metro area.

Currently the Racing Team is open to anyone wishing to be a member, but was originally established to help disadvantaged kids. We continue to provide this help and ask that members and their parents/guardians volunteer their time to help with the various functions in the club and driving kids to events.

Please consider making an appropriate cash donation to the club to help us reach our goals. Also, if you have any contacts from large corporations to small businesses you might consider asking them to sponsor the club. This will help defray the cost of coaching, equipment, clothing, other expenses, and with the disadvantaged urban youth program. Donations can be designated to either the inner-city youth program and /or the Racing Team Program. The club is a non-profit organization and FRCC has received a determination under Section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code, which makes your contribution eligible for a deduction on your tax return.
